workshop(The importance of afforestation in achieving environmental balance)

As part of the activities of the celebration of the Iraqi National Afforestation Day, the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center held on Wednesday, 19/3/2025, a workshop entitled: (The importance of afforestation in achieving environmental balance) in which (Eng. Hoda Abbas Zeidan) lectured in the presence of the respected Director of the Center and a number of its staff
The workshop aimed to spread awareness of the importance of afforestation and green spaces and their role in preserving the environment and improving the quality of life, in addition to the importance of plants in religious and scientific terms, and to emphasize the importance of concerted efforts to preserve green spaces because of their important role in achieving environmental balance.
The lecturer recommended the need to intensify awareness campaigns on the importance of afforestation, as the workshop contributed to promoting the culture of afforestation in society and encouraging individuals to participate in efforts to preserve the environment.
